Visiting Assistant Professor Dr. Virginia Wickline will deliver the Walter D. Foss lecture Thursday Feb 22 at 8:00 pm in the Lean Lecture Room. Stay tuned for a report…(I hear they’re having dessert!)
Update: A very nice evening! Dr. Wickline presented on her ongoing research which examines how international students are adjusting to life in Wooster…the dessert was awesome.
Congratulations to Wooster Psychology students Tom Port & Carly Loehrke who were named to ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-District Basketball Teams. Tom is a Psyc major. Carly is a Psyc minor majoring in Communications Sciences and Disorders Get the full story.
Here’s a great chance to present the results of your student research project. The Department will be sponsoring students who wish to present at the Ohio Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference. The conference will be held this year at Hiram College. It’s a great experience and looks good on your resume.
The Psychology Department is currently advertising a one year visiting faculty position to begin Fall 2007. The position is in part to cover the absences of Drs. Casey and Stavnezer, both of whom will be on leave for one semester next year. Yes, we’re all jealous….

Okay, okay, actually this is just our experimental foray into an alternative form of communicating with people associated with the Psychology Department and The College (and beyond). Who knows how it will evolve? An extension of the website? A link to alums? A forum for students (and faculty) to complain? A vital cog central to the wellbeing and functioning of the department, the College….? Ummm…ya..only time will tell….
